When I started Excalibur Animation, I had already been in the animation industry 10+ years. Outside of commercials, all my experience had involved pre-school series and specials. I knew that I could earn a pay cheque doing these types of shows for my entire career, but felt it really wasn’t a challenge. I wanted to tell big stories and present new ideas for a larger audience.
 

The goal for my company is to tell the stories, big or small, funny or poignant. The most important thing is to tell new and interesting stories to a large audience. Is it profitable? I believe that if you tell a good story or present an interesting idea, people will watch and therefore profitability is assured.
